MSK Ultrasound Evaluation-Differentiation of Tendinopathy vs Tear in the Rotator Cuff w/Case Studies
Sep 21, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (ET)
The AIUM is collaborating with the APTA to present the "MSK Ultrasound Evaluation - Differentiation of Tendinopathy vs Tear in the Rotator Cuff w/Case Studies" webinar.
Colin Rigney PT, DPT, OCS, RMSK will give the presentation.
By the end of this webinar the viewer should:
1. Be familiar with terms high-grade vs low-grade with respect to rotator cuff tendon pathology.
2. Be familiar with probe positioning, patient positioning, and image acquisition with respect to rotator cuff tendon evaluation.
3. Learn (via MSKUS imaging) to establish a working algorithm to help
determine/define a partial thickness tendon tear vs tendinopathy.
4. Be familiar with tendon shape and echotexture(s) that represent high-grade pathology associated with partial and full-thickness rotator cuff tears.
The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME activities for physicians.
The AIUM designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
