- Have a better understanding of the differential diagnosis of athletic groin pain;
- Move beyond the terms 'sports hernia' and 'athletic pubalgia';
- Follow a standard protocol for MSK ultrasound of the groin; and
- Use the findings of the MSK ultrasound to guide the treatment of the specific diagnosis.
