My name is David Treacey, I am a sonographer practitioner working in rural and remote practice in outback Australia. We have delivered diagnostic and interventional sonographic services across an area requiring a drive of approximately 1400km per week, and large enough that we eventually acquired a small aircraft. This reduced, on a daily basis, the hours on the road and the number of kangaroos we had to dodge :)
I have a special interest in MSK and interventional practice with a particular focus on PRP therapy and undertook further studies in ultrasound guided intervention through the university of Essex (UK)
